We just got back from a great vacation with Jason's family. We went to Mi to visit some of Jason's relatives and then over NY to visit mine and see my brother in the renassance festival. A good time was had by all including the dogs! Pics are here

This has been the best new year I can remember, katzj , purrmeow, mgalgoci and I threw a new years party. It was great fun and there was fire, drink, and fireworks. Dick Clark sounds horrible. Is there any better feeling then coming home and putting on a pair of flannel pj's? I am very happy :)

I've been wicked busy getting my life in shape and thus far everything is going swimmingly. Work is good although hectic, and Christmas is on the way :D. I know I haven't been around much as of late and I really want that to change, animals and life take up a lot of time it seems. There have been lots of trips and lots of pictures

The wedding went off without a hitch this past weekend, thanks to all involved who made it happen! We in the process of getting ready for the honeymoon, an Alaskan cruise! I'll write more later, there are some nice pics taken by msw here. base10 has gobs more and did an awesome job as photographer.

Three weeks until the wedding and everything is going good. We met with the minister yesterday, that went well, as in he didn't sentance me to eternal damnation and refuse to marry us. I didn't agree with most/all of what he said, but the actual ceramony didn't seem too bad so I'm alright with it....plus my mom will beat him up if he's mean to me, while Jason verbally taunts him I'm sure. All the hotels in Jacksonville are sold out, Jason and I don't have a room, I think we'll just drive home :) Kinston is a close choice and they seem to have lots of rooms if anyone is having trouble. It will be nice to see everyone, I;m hoping to get to hang out a bit with everyone and not just have to fly by for a brief second, say hi then go talk to some long lost aunt agatha I have never met. my gland is swollen I think it's marsburgers for sure.

It's been a while since I wrote, work has been really busy as has life. Wedding planning is coming right along, we have around 130 people attending so far. I should be getting my dress sometime next week, that should be cool. It was cold and dreary today, reminded me of Rochester...yuck. I hope it will be sunny tomorrow. We have pictures from rochester here. We went to Mike's Farm and took some pictures, please check out the cakes, we both like the last one I think :).

In other news I had an episode on Sunday. I was upstairs at Jason's house and my heart began to pound, I broke out in a sweat, and almost blacked out. I got into a cold bath and that seemed to help, at Jason's prompting I went to the emergency room and they think I have supraventricular tachycardia. I have to see a cardiologist on Wednesday, he will probably give me a heart monitor of some kind. Good thing I quit smoking in August.

We have a date for the wedding, May 14th. My sister will be in Japan :( but we will stream it to the web for her :). So far I think we're doing pretty good, we almost have the location finalized, it's this place called Mike's Farm. They have a petting zoo for kids, a banquet hall, and outside facilities. I got a dress and 3 tiaras (hehe) the dress is below....

I also bought some favors, everything is going great! I have to look through the pics of Rochester and do some censoring ;) then I will put them up as well!

So far ROchester has been cool. Just hanging out with my family, I got a multimeter from my mom, and some random tools (very nice) including a new socket set. I think we are leaving tomorrow so we don't have to drive the whole 12 hours again, we might stop and stay over somewhere for New Years. Hope everyone is having a great new years!

This Christmas was really nice, spent with Jason, Emily, Grandma and Grandpa and with Jason's family. In other news, Jason asked me to marry him and I said yes. I also got a 200g sata hard drive, what a great year. /me giggles. We're planning on getting married in his parents backyard. Just a nice outdoor wedding with food for everyone, I can't wait. Were leaving for NY tomorrow, I miss my family so it will be nice to see them and for Jason to meet people. :)

Ok, I am alive, this is good. My mom and Jason took excellent care of me and I am feeling better. The good news is I didn't have to have a root canal! Yippie! The bad news is one of the crowns they put on didn't sit right and is bugging the shit out of me. I'm going to get it fixed today and hopefully that will help. Jason and I are going to send out xmas cards, how cool is that. The funny thing is I wish I had saved more things to have only done with Jason, places I've gone, things I've said, etc. I just want to show him how special he is to me, sending xmas cards is one thing I have never done with anyone else, we are even planning on getting those photo ones with Java and Isis. Fun! My Mom met Jason, she really liked him which made me happy :) That is all for now! I have a lisp!

The dentist appointment is rapidly approaching, I'm nervous. My mom is flying in which makes me feel slightly better. Randy Quaid got fat. I want to find out how someone becomes a storm spotter, that would rule. I'm tired a lot lately, not quite sure why, I think it might be the meds the dentist prescribed. Isis is curled up on the Sunday paper next to me, too cute :) Jason and I went to mass this morning, my favorite part was when the father remarked, "After the road rage at the Christmas parade, you would think we wouldn't have these parking problems anymore..." Priceless :)

Well oopsla was good, Vancouver was great! Pics are here . Jason and I hosted an election party which went over well, we even made a map using plexi glass and plywood, this resulted in mexico going to me :) I'm not happy about the outcome of the election, not that I was too thrilled with Kerry either. I'm more upset by the obvious bigotry in this country concerning gay people. It makes me angry that people think they have the right to interfere in others private lives, get a hobby. I made an appt. to get a root canal.../me shudders. My mom is flying down to be with me, they are putting me to sleep for the whole thing, lets hope this goes better then the last time. Christmas is coming, this rules. Oh and so does THIS

This weekend was great, I went to myrtle beach with Jason and his family. I had a great time, his family is very nice, they have a great sense of humor, reminds me of my family (in a good way). We went to an impersonator show, which was actually really fun, the elvis impersonator was sexually assaulted by one of the geriatric audience members, it was my favorite part of the show. On Sunday we went shopping at the outlet mall, god I missed shopping :) I leave for Vancouver on Thursday, I am so looking forward to it having never been to the west coast. Pics from the weekend.

Things are looking up, my sister and I are good again and no one has stolen my shit. Getting ready to go to oopsla soon, I'll see sshack and it should be a good confrance and a fun trip. Jason is going to oopsla as well...I wonder how that happened ;P. katzj and purrmeow will be up here soon, it will be wonderful to see both of them :). base10 is back from ca soon I think, if you need a ride from the airport holla! I need to get a new motherboard for phil, I'm thinking of moving him to Jasons as I spend more time over here, maybe not we'll see. This month is going to be busy, I have a shitload to get done before I leave for Vancouver....tonight is the SNL premiere, I wonder who will replace fallon on WU. Spent this weekend sick, I think I have West Nile. In other crappy news someone broke into the apartment below mine, they took a hammer to the sliding glass door. They stole 8 guns and some other random stuff....lovely. I feel so safe now :( I tried to call my mom for 2 days but her cell kept saying the service was disconnected, anyone who knows the amount I talk to my mother will understand how concerning this was. I called my sister to see if her cell was still working, the conversation proceeded like this:

me: "Hi Maddy, do you know where mom is?"

maddy: "How the hell would I know? Don't call me at work, JESUS!" click.

Lovely. I was really upset, I have always tried to be sweet and kind to my sister, most recently I gave her my car when I got a new one. That was a big deal for me, I was considering giving it to my cousin who has a wife, a baby, and only one car. I chose to give it to my sister instead, as she has always been the apple of my eye. Recently she has become a rotten apple festering with conceit and malice for no reason. I feel used and angry, I called my aunt very upset about the break in and my sister, after a long talk I decided to go and get the car. If my sister wants to act like a normal teenager, then she can have a normal teenage life, aka an auto-less life. I really wanted to do something good with that car, hopefully I still can. In other news I have been looking at farms to buy, there is no way I can afford one now, but it's fun to look. Work has been good and Jason and I have been experimenting with oatmeal cookies. Jason took some pictures of me with the pets :) Pay no attention to the other pics on there...I have no idea who that girl is.

Update: I quit smoking yea! It's been a week now, it seems easy again which is good. I also cleaned my room and started saving money, I wonder if I'm getting sick ;) Jason and I are going to Boston to visit everyone, I am looking forward to it. Everything is going good, except I miss my friend....but that is not somthing I can fix, still can't help thinking about it. While in Boston we are going to go see the One Ring exibit. That should rock ;)
